Dr. Jeff Schmidt

Jeff Schmidt was born and raised in the picturesque landscapes of Northern California, surrounded by a lively group of family pets, including cats, dogs, and even a horse. It was in this animal-filled home that his deep respect and love for animals blossomed, setting the foundation for his future career. After high school, Jeff demonstrated a strong sense of duty and discipline by serving two years of active duty in the U.S. Army as a tank crewman in West Germany. His time in the service helped cultivate qualities like resilience and commitment that would prove invaluable in his later professional life.

After being honorably discharged, Jeff continued his academic journey, graduating with honors with a degree in Biology from San Diego State University. In 2021, after decades of dedication to animal health and well-being, Dr. Schmidt retired and settled in Kuna, Idaho, where he enjoys a more relaxed pace of life.
